Friend

I have known Rev. Femi since our secondary school days. We lived in the same neighborhood and attended the same church, ECWA Fate/Tanke, where we were both active members and leaders of the youth fellowship.

Over the years, I have had the privilege of watching God use him in remarkable ways. One special memory is attending ECWA Akute, one of the churches he helped pioneer. It was there that I had the opportunity to preach my first sermon during a large Sunday service—an experience I will always cherish. Although I later moved abroad, our friendship has remained strong. We have stayed in close contact through the years, and we have had the joy of visiting each other’s homes, both in the United States and in Nigeria.

Rev. Femi is a true servant of God who has devoted his life to the service of Christ and the proclamation of the Gospel. He is a loving husband, a dedicated father, and a faithful shepherd. His commitment to excellence is evident in both his academic pursuits and his ministry. He is hardworking, disciplined, and relentless in his pursuit of God’s best. Through his leadership, mentorship, and example, he has impacted and inspired countless lives.

I consider him one of the shining lights of our generation, and I deeply admire his passion for missions, evangelism, and the advancement of God’s kingdom.

Happy 50th Birthday, Rev. Ikusagba
