A GOLDEN MILESTONE: CELEBRATING REV. (DR.) OLUWAFEMI IKUSAGBA AT 50

Today, June 16, 2026, I join family, friends, colleagues, mentees, and the countless beneficiaries of your life and ministry to celebrate a remarkable gift to the Body of Christ—Rev. Oluwafemi Ikusagba, on your 50th birthday.

Fifty years is more than just the passage of time; it is a profound testament to God’s love, grace, mercy, and favor. This Golden Jubilee invites us to reflect on a life that has become a generational blessing. The true measure of a man is not found in the years lived, but in the lives transformed, the values imparted, and the godly legacy established. By this measure, your life has been extraordinarily fruitful.

First and foremost, you are a child of God whose devotion to Christ anchors both your public ministry and private convictions. In an era where influence is often pursued at the expense of character, you have consistently demonstrated that authentic leadership begins with submission to God. You remind us that true significance is achieved not by seeking prominence, but through unwavering faithfulness to divine purpose.

As a visionary leader, you have never been content with the status quo. You possess the rare ability to see possibilities where others see limitations and to chart pathways where none exist. Your leadership inspires many to think differently, dream boldly, and pursue excellence. You have proven time and again that leadership is not about managing people, but empowering them to fulfill their God-given potential.

Your sacrificial commitment to God’s work and the wellbeing of others is one of your most admirable qualities. While great leaders are recognized for their accomplishments, exceptional leaders are remembered for their behind-the-scenes sacrifices. Through every season, you have consistently placed service above self and purpose above personal comfort—reflecting the very heart of Christ.

As a husband and father, you provide a compelling example of godly balance. In a world where public success often comes at the expense of the home, you have shown that ministry and family can flourish beautifully together under God’s guidance.

Furthermore, your impact as a mentor and discipler reaches far beyond what can be measured. Countless men and women are stronger in faith, wiser in ministry, and more effective in leadership because you invested in them. True greatness is revealed not in the number of followers gathered, but in the number of leaders raised. Through your mentorship, you have multiplied your impact across generations.

As a prolific writer, sound teacher, and faithful preacher, you have enriched the Church with deep biblical insight and practical wisdom. In a generation hungry for substance amidst noise, your voice has remained clear, balanced, and anchored in Scripture. You are a lover of excellence and a pathfinder, proving that God is glorified when His children pursue what is noble, beautiful, and distinct.

The Evangelical Church Winning All (ECWA), the broader Body of Christ in Nigeria, and the global Christian community are vastly richer because of your contributions. You have become a bridge connecting vision with action, knowledge with wisdom, and faith with service.

As you step into this significant new chapter, may this next season surpass all previous ones in fruitfulness, influence, joy, and spiritual vitality. May God grant you renewed strength, expanded opportunities, deeper revelations of His grace, and the privilege of seeing the fruits of your labor multiplied beyond measure.

Happy 50th Birthday, my dear brother, friend, and colleague. Thank you for the gift of your life, your example, and your service. The journey thus far has been inspiring, but I am confident your most impactful years still lie ahead.

May the Lord continue to establish the work of your hands, enlarge your coast for His glory, and cause your legacy to endure for generations to come.

Congratulations on your Golden Jubilee!

With love and brotherly affection.
